In September 2020 installation of a new control system for the ESAB rail welding machine was completed.

In January 2020, a stationary rail greasing system “StaTrack” manufactured by Bijur Delimon was commissioning in Daugavpils

The training of LDz welders has been completed on flash-butt rail welding machines with certification of specialists in accordance with EN 14732 with leading experts from E.O. Paton's institute
